Welcome! I hope to use this blog to share some of the amazing things my class and school does to make learning fun! I have been teaching for 15 years already! I started teaching 3rd grade in a Parochial School, then I was hired to teach 1st grade for three years, was moved to 5th grade for 2 years, and then came back to 1st grade in the district where I attended school. I love that I'm able to give back the the school district that guided me to become the teacher I am today! I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, certified 1-8; a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction; and my Administrator License Pre-K-12.

October Currently

Hi Friends!
Here's my "Currently" for October!


So I don't think my "Currently" needs a lot of explaining this month!  Here's a picture of one of my favorite fall books...

Such a fun read aloud!  Lots of screaming...due to a cute little spider who just wants to become the family pet!  He tries so hard to show the family all of the fun things he can do but it just doesn't work...until a surprise at the end!  I'm hoping to put together some of the activities I do with this book and share it on my blog this weekend!  That's the goal!  :)

    I don't know that book, but I'm going to put it on my list! I feel like I haven't been able to keep my head above water since school started!

    Tonight's line-up of shows were PERFECT. The Middle, Neighbors, and then Modern Family. Now Chicago Fire. Love it all!

    This year has been go, go, go since August for me too! Luckily we get a fall break. Heres to hopeing you get one too (even a small break always helps)!
